How We're Actually Using AI Inside BrandHive
I think most people are using AI wrong. Or at least they're only scratching the surface.
Every time I hear someone talk about AI, the conversation is usually about content.
Writing captions.
Writing blogs.
Creating social media posts.
And while we absolutely use AI for content, that's probably the least interesting thing we're doing with it.
Inside BrandHive, ChatGPT and Claude have completely different jobs.

How We Use ChatGPT
Most people assume I open ChatGPT and ask it to write content for me.
I don't.
Almost all of our content starts with our own ideas first.
Client conversations.
Things we're noticing.
Experiences.
Random thoughts.
Questions we're asking.
A lot of the content you've seen recently started as a messy thought in my head.
I'll take that thought to ChatGPT and ask:
How can I explain this more clearly?
What's another perspective?
What's the strongest hook?
How would a founder interpret this?
How can I make this more actionable?
It's less of a writer and more of a strategic sounding board.
Honestly, I ask ChatGPT questions all day long.
Sometimes it's content.
Sometimes it's operations.
Sometimes it's branding.
Sometimes it's a completely random founder thought I need help organizing.
How We Use Claude
Claude is a completely different story.
Claude isn't helping us think.
Claude is helping us build.
Recently we've used Claude to:
Build Notion dashboards.
Audit our existing Notion systems.
Create templates from dashboards we've already built.
Analyze Instagram accounts.
Review competitors.
Organize workflows.
Build SOPs.
Create onboarding systems.
Document internal processes.
Turn messy ideas into actual action plans.
When we built portions of our upcoming BrandHive Growth Systems, Claude became one of the most valuable tools in the process.
Not because it was creating the ideas.
Because it was helping us organize them.
The Biggest Shift
The biggest thing AI has changed for us isn't content creation.
It's speed.
