From $0 to $100K+: The Real Story Behind Scaling My Marketing Business
When I started, I didn’t have funding, ads, or thousands of followers.
I had an idea, a few Canva graphics, and a vision for helping service-based businesses grow—and zero clients.
Fast forward: we now make over six figures a year, support dozens of luxury brands, salons, and medspas, and I’ve built a full team of editors, assistants, and creatives who help me deliver results every single day.
This isn’t just a “how I made it” story. This is the actual breakdown of what worked—and how you can use the same systems to grow your own business.
1. I Built a Business That Solves a Real Problem
I didn’t wake up and say, “I want to post on Instagram for people.”
I asked myself:
“What are businesses struggling with that I know how to fix?”
For medspas, salons, and personal brands—it was visibility.
Not just “pretty posts” but strategy that sells.
So I created a done-for-you marketing system that includes content creation, caption writing, social media management, client communication, and even virtual reception.
Takeaway: You don’t need to be everywhere. You just need to solve one real problem really well for people who can afford to pay you.
2. I Relied on Word of Mouth + Strategic Content
I got my first clients through connections. Then I started asking:
Who do I actually want to work with?
The answer:
Medspas offering injectables or facials
High-end salons doing extensions or transformations
Beauty brands with real value—but no strategy
So I created content specifically for them. Not viral trends. Not aesthetics alone. Strategic, clear, and consistent messaging that called them in.
And those first few referrals? They turned into testimonials, long-term contracts, and repeat business.
3. I Hired Before I Was “Ready”
I knew if I wanted to scale, I couldn’t do it all alone.
I started building a team slowly—one intern, then an assistant, then a copywriter, then a video editor.
Now, we’re a full agency.
And I get to focus on strategy, client experience, and CEO moves—not editing captions at midnight.
Tip: Hire people who complement your strengths. Build SOPs so they don’t need to ask you for every detail. And treat your systems like a business asset, not a backup plan.
4. I Created Systems for Everything
From the beginning, I used Google Calendar to time block my week.
I built a Notion dashboard that holds all of our content planning, task management, and client strategy.
I used HoneyBook to automate contracts, invoices, and proposals.
And we now offer Google Voice setups and virtual receptionist services to help our clients stay organized too.
Bottom line:
If your backend is messy, you’ll feel messy.
But when your business runs with clarity—you can scale with ease.
5. I Worked With People Who Could Afford Me
This one’s big.
I didn’t pitch people who needed convincing. I focused on people who had high-ticket offers but no strategy.
The ones who already had something good—they just needed help getting it seen.
That meant:
Stylists offering $3000+ extension installs
Medspas with luxury skincare services
Agencies who needed client content but didn’t want to hire in-house
I didn’t just market to anyone. I marketed to aligned people ready to invest.
What’s Next?
Now we’re scaling even more.
I’ve created digital resources, like my Booked + Visible Growth Playbook, that give you the exact visibility system we use for clients who pay $2K+/month.
This is the strategy that took me from $0 to over $100K/year.
And it’s available for just $37.
